I had my first meal at Maxi's on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was relaxed, making it a pleasant dining experience. It’s important to note that Maxi's is an intimate, casual restaurant, so the noise level can rise when the dining area and bar are busy. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing our experience. The escargots were creatively presented, and the calamari pasta was quite good. My friends also enjoyed their meals.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday with our four kids before heading to the orchestra. The food was fantastic! Everyone ordered something different, and everyone was pleased. The mussels appetizer was exceptional, and the freshly baked bread was incredible. Thank you for the birthday tiramisu as well! It was an amazing dining experience!
I had heard positive things about Maxi's, but my experience was somewhat underwhelming. While the service was excellent, the food didn't quite meet expectations. The appetizers were only lukewarm, and the carbonara didn’t look very appealing. Additionally, the peas tasted like they had been frozen rather than fresh.
We love this place. One of the best restaurants in Little Italy!! Always a great experience. Food is fabulous. Best frog legs in town!! Clams in wine sauce are delicious! Pizzas are delicious! Homemade sauces and pasta! Yum! Veal just melts in your mouth. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Some of the best Italian food I’ve had z. The calamari was lightly dusted with flour and sautéed then served in a delicious red sauce. Seasoned to perfection! The pizza was vastly excellent. Same for the stuffed hot peppers and the shrimp scampi
Sat on the outside patio and our server was very friendly. The meatballs and pasta are incredible. Mozzarella sticks also very good, but definitely must get the meatballs and pasta. The espresso martinis are decent, as well!
Dinner was first class once again ! They make us feel at home legit with the scallop pasta special and the calamari pasta. after dinner lemon cello drink and canoli yummy thanks for all your hard work.
food was good but the place smelled. Wait staff was good but it was a Birthday dinner and there was no offer to comp a dessert on a $100 dinner check. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
