Max's Of Burlingame

This place is not what it used to be. We had to wait at least minutes to even be greeted and seated. We were finally seated and it was quite obvious they were short staff. Once seated we were never greeted either by our server. There looked to be one server in our section and he was avoiding contact with us. Finally after waiting for minutes we got up and left. I will never come to this place ever again. I understand if you’re short staff but acknowledge your customers and advise them if the situation. The restaurant looked dirty and very chaotic.

It was a plus how good the service and the food turned out to be! Waiter was dreat food was great, it was my wife's birthday so we brought our own cake and the waiter offed to out it in the refrigerator! Then when it was time to bring cake out he bought it with the candles lit!

An enjoyable evening with lots of menu choices and friendly service throughout our dinner. It’s been a while since we have visited Max’s so it was nice to know it is still a good place to enjoy a good meal with friends.

Unfortunately, whole experience- food, ambiance, service was average at best. Disappointing.

Services is always great and James the bartendar is outstanding.
