Honestly the food is decent as far as freshness. The problem is I ordered with notes saying extra dressing please. I got about 2 tablespoons of dressing for a full chef salad with extra meat.It could have been at least 1 full container. It was a half filled normal sauce container. It was too small for not asking for extra dressing. Let alone asking for dressing on a 1 item 20$ order.Simple things like this make or break a salad. Nobody wants to eat a salad with no dressing.Albertsons has a fresh chef salad twice as big at 6.99 with full bacon, eggs, and real grilled chicken real cheese and comes with 4x the dressing*The chicken on this salad was like chicken nugget meat fake grilled processe...
What makes a deli, assuming they're using quality ingredients (which Maya's absolutely is), is sandwich selection and the staff. They have an excellent assortment of hot and cold sandwiches as well as other items and sides, and a very large assortment of drink options. The staff is what really makes this place shine though. I always call ~30 minutes before they close with a nightmare of an order (as in almost 10 changes to the standard sandwich) and they always take it with a smile and have *never* gotten it wrong. What more could you ask for? You won't be disappointed.
I've been visiting this place for 30 years, ever since the California cheese company down the street closed its doors. It's definitely experienced some upgrades over the years, featuring large, bright menu boards, all while still serving the same excellent sandwiches.
The food here is so so good and really big portions. Lunch time of course gets busy but the line goes quickly. The only downside is the limited seating inside. Overall recommend. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This place is an absolute gem. The sandwiches are above and beyond, and their salads are so fresh and tasty. I've never had a bad thing from here, everything is so good!!
Stopped by to grab the famous Godfather sandwich. Seriously.....it's freaking delicious ! They also have amazing customer service . Glad this deli is close to my house!
