I finally decided to stop at this hidden gem of a sandwich shop in Buffalo that I've passed by for years. I ordered some takeout and went for the Stinger sub on white bread with medium sauce. Let me tell you, this sub ranks among the best in Buffalo! It was loaded with meat, and the chicken was excellent, with just the right amount of spice for a medium heat. Priced at $15.99, it's on the pricier side, but the portion is generous enough for two hearty meals. You grab your sub from the takeout counter in the back and head to the front to pay—super quick and easy. I’m also excited to come back and try their breakfast menu!
After more than 30 years, I finally visited Maybach's Deli on the Boulevard, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered a tuna sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, and black olives, and it was fantastic—everything was incredibly fresh. It’s the best tuna sub I've had in a long time. The seating area was very comfortable, adorned with well-tended hanging plants near the window. They served Coke in old-school glass bottles, and there were neatly folded napkins at the tables, ready for the next customer. The service was warm and friendly, making me feel right at home. I can definitely see why this place has been around for so long.
I had been eagerly anticipating trying a Mayback sandwich and sub. Placing the order over the phone was a breeze. I used some old photos of the menu from Yelp to check out the options since I didn't see a website. I went for the Classic Chicken Finger Sub (mini), and I have no complaints—it was packed with chicken fingers. I also tried the steak breakfast sandwich and would recommend adding a hash brown patty to it. Unfortunately, it lacked a bit of flavor; maybe it just needed a pinch of salt. Regardless, it was devoured quickly. I’m looking forward to returning to try more!
No complaints at all! We purchased a personal size pizza, pizza logs w/fries, a taco (disclaimer burrito size in other states), and a Parm sandwich. Each dish delish, so glad we came here for dinner, after a 6 hour flight! We may come back for another chicken parm sandwich. So grateful for the great customer service as well!!!!
Owner very much was racist to my partner after he was assaulted in front of this establishment. Mediocre food is not an excuse to be ignorant. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I had a turkey and bacon club sandwich that was perfectly toasted, and the turkey was incredibly flavorful. It was delicious!
I absolutely love their fish fry! I've been enjoying it for over 20 years, and it's still my favorite dish.
