My husband and I went into Mayflower and the first thing I notice was the sanitation rating was 90 . The individual that was working didn 't speak, walked up to counter, grab the pad where you right down the order and drew a big X on the order sheet, then he looks at me, and then I give my order. I am a manager of a retail store and I know the importance of acknowledging our customers and at least making them feel like a customer. I don 't think I will be eating here again. Great customer service goes a long ways especially when you have a 90 as sanitation grade.
Got a senior plate of food tonight. It was 25.00 This was for a senior shrimp plate and order suppose to be 12.99 for shrimp and deviled crab. My bill was almost 27.00. I called and girl was rude. I ask to speak to manager and she said she was. That was the same girl I spoke to in the beginning. She was mean and rude and told me if I could not afford it I should have ask. The food was horrible and she could have never have been taught any manners. Never again. I have saved this receipt cause she said I was looking at old prices.Never again.
So this was horrible and usually I can deal with everything I get. I ordered clam strips trout and fries. They change the fries to these crispy looking fries instead of crinkle. They was nasty. My clam strips was tough. The best Orr was some shrimp they accidentally put in my food. Mayflower really needs to remove its name from this restaurant. I have been to 5 mayflowers in N.C. This is the worse. There is even one in Greensboro that is also Italian. They were better than This.
Took Mom today for her 81st birthday and our waiter brought us coffee. Then we ordered founder shrimp. For sides we ordered baked potato w butter sour creme. The other side was slaw. Hush puppies were included. It was all amazing and fresh! Our waiter was fast and polite. The charges were very reasonable and we tipped our waiter generously.

I went to pick up my food. The cashier was rude and almost got cussed out. The shrimp was overcooked and the fish looked and tasted fake. Mayflower need to do better!!!!
the autumn was amazing! she was professional, efficient, friendly and very personal! my mother and I are always looking forward to the goldsboro mayflower!
Food always good hot an fresh. Never had a real problem. They got 1 order wrong quick to fix it. 1 order in how many years? Great customer service!!!
I go there as often as I can always had excellent service excellent food and more food than I can eat at one time so plenty to take home

I go to takeout most time love that the food is always hot and doesn't take a long time and the tarter sauce is really good.
Affordable, decent seafood. OK atmosphere. Good service.
