Mayflower Seafood Restaurant

I went to eat at Mayflower with my husband and mom on 03/27/2013 and I regret it deeply. We use to love going there because the food had always been so good, but this trip proved to us that things have changed. The staff were really friendly, but the food was the whole problem. My mom and I got fried shrimp and my husband got the broiled combination plate. The flounder my husband got had very little meat, but a huge number of bones! My husband's plate cost $15.99 and the portions were so tiny it wouldn't have filled up a 5 year old. The 2 fried popcorn shrimp plates were horrible! Very good food! The fried oysters and groupers were great; tasted as if they just came from the fishing boat. The scallops... not so much, but they were okay. The service we received was also very good; our waitress kept the iced tea coming. Note to newcomers like me: if they have taken your order and collect the menus when they ask casually whether they can start you with some mozzarella sticks or fried pimples? ... know that these objects will not be free;

This place is very soothing and pescatarian friendly! The vibe is very relaxing and it serves dishes such as pasta, salads, soup, sandwiches and naturally delicious seafood plates. I've got the puppy plate with shrimp, frits and Hush puppies! Very delicious! It's like that.

Last food I got everything was good except the sweet potatoe was burned up Bad ! I was sooooo upset !!
