Mayta's Peruvian Cuisine

I ordered a half chicken, roasted potatoes and mixed vegetables to go. The food was incredibly delicious. The potatoes were the best I’ve ever had. Just phenomenal! authentic and delicious Peruvian cuisine! my man and I spent a week in peru 20 years ago and this place really brought back memories. the employees were so friendly and even humorous our try in Spanish. the restuarant is small but bright with beautiful Peruvian artworks on the walls. very nice casual eating. highly recommended

Pisco Sours and Ceviche Mixto were followed by wonderfully imaginative presentation of entrees including marinated Braised Duck, Roasted Lamb Shank and Picante de Langosta/Lobster with variety of sides. Clasico Postre and Peruvian coffee made a perfect finish in a comfortable setting. Chef/Owner is welcoming and friendly.

Mayta’s serves the finest, most authentic Peruvian food in Frederick; and beyond! The food tastes great and is presented beautifully. If you are not sure what to order, just ask Jorge, the owner, for a suggestion. He and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We will be back again and again!
