I ordered the fettuccine porcini, while my friend opted for the grilled salmon. The fettuccine porcini was absolutely outstanding. It was clear that the pasta was handmade, given its wonderful texture. It wasn’t overly filling, yet it was very satisfying. The porcini mushrooms combined with a light sauce made it truly memorable. I also had the opportunity to taste my friend’s salmon, which was expertly seasoned and perfectly grilled. It was delicious, especially alongside the grilled vegetables served with it. The four-star rating reflects the limited and uncomfortable size of this hidden gem, but you'll soon forget that with the delightful pasta and wine they offer. Sometimes being small is what allows a place to be truly great, and that's exactly what Mazzi Cucina Ristorante embodies. My advice is to make a reservation before you go; you'll enjoy the full five-star experience much more without the long wait for a table. So take my advice, reserve a spot, and enjoy!
The food was simply fantastic. I was there for a family dinner and we had the artichoke salad, beet and goat cheese salad, octopus, eggplant parmigiana, mushroom risotto with truffle oil, and gnocchi with four cheeses. All of them were excellent. The only issue we had was the food came out slowly but I cannot blame the waitress because there was only one waitress for all the tables and it was basically a full house. I've visited this restaurant twice, and it's absolutely incredible! The food is incredibly fresh, and the service is excellent as well. I believe this is the only place in the area that offers truly authentic Italian cuisine. If you decide to go, be sure to try the White Truffle Mushroom Risotto and the Veal Parmesan—both are delicious! The portions are generous, and the wine selection is fantastic!
I went there for my birthday and the owner was even there to greet me and thank me for being there. I had a meal for 2 which I did not finish and the pesto is amazing at least what I think it was. It had a cute romantic vibe, without the posh feel. I found it cafe styled restaurant on my first date feel. Social distancing of course and outdoor seating. The server was a doll.
The cutest, coziest, Italian restaurant. The staff were so nice and helpful. The food and wine was amazing! I had garlic bread (appetizer), linguine seafood (main dish), and profiteroles (desert). To drink I had a glass my new favorite Moscato (Mustela), and Pinot Noir (Ombroso house red) the Pinot Noir was not my favorite too bitter for my liking but it was good to try.
The taste of the food in this place is amazing. We had the grilled octopus, the seafood pasta, mushroom truffle risotto, chocolate cake, and everything was increible. Good customer service.
