I had a very frustrating experience with this restaurant. I attempted to place a delivery order, but the service representative kept calling me "babe," which felt unprofessional. There were also issues with their computer system, and I was hung up on. When I called back, I spoke to someone else who provided the same poor service. Now, I can't even reach them on the phone. Additionally, the prices listed on their website are incorrect. I strongly urge the owner to review these calls and improve their professionalism. This kind of service seems outdated in today's world.
I had previously written a less than positive review, but I have to say that Mazzios is truly the best pizza chain around. When made right, their pizza is incredibly delicious. I did encounter some issues with order accuracy at this location in the past, but I want to recognize the new manager, Sarah. Since she took over, this place has turned into something exceptional. It's undoubtedly the best pizza spot in Jonesboro, and it's evident that Sarah really cares about her customers. Thank you, Sarah!
I can't say anything negative about the food, the staff, or the facilities, so the only thing left to address is the pricing. It has always been fairly reasonable, but for some reason, the last time we visited (just two adults), our bill was over $60! I ordered a calzone and a salad from the salad bar, along with a drink, while the other person had a salad, the loaded dippers (which is an appetizer), and a drink as well. And just to clarify, I didn't even touch the calzone; I took it home with me.
We were in town for a volleyball tournament and needed to grab some dinner. It had been a while since we had been to a Mazzio's, so we decided to stop by. The cashier was friendly and even gave us a coupon that we used for our order. When we picked up the pizza at the window, it was just as tasty as we remembered. The salad bar is great, but the pizza leaves a lot to be desired. They should have enough pizza available to keep up with the buffet. It seems like they only start bringing out more pizza when the place gets packed. It’s frustrating because every time I convince myself to go there, I find there’s barely any pizza available, and there are usually 25 people waiting for it. It’s just ridiculous.
I've eaten here twice, and both times, I was the only customer present. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow, from taking our order to refills and serving our food. I really enjoy their calzones, as they are one of the few places that offer them, which is why I keep coming back. However, I've also experienced frequent issues with their online ordering system being down.
I dined in twice and both times, no other customers were in there but the service took way too long (ordering, refills, getting our food). I love calzones and this is one of the few places here that make them so I order takeout but online ordering is downfrequently.
