I finally stopped by to try the potatoes, but there was a 40-minute wait, so I guess I’ll have to save that for next time. We ordered the ham and cheese melt, which was tasty; the ham had a pleasantly sweet flavor. The French dip was my least favorite, as the beef had too much fat for my liking, but my husband didn’t mind it. The chicken dumpling and cheddar broccoli soups were good, though I wish they had been served hotter. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy. We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was subpar. When I tried to place my order, they were out of many items we wanted, including cheese for a salad. I opted for a different salad that was slightly more expensive, and the manager actually took the time to calculate the price difference—an astonishing 67 cents. To make things worse, she never approached us to apologize or acknowledge their inability to fulfill our orders. It’s not our fault that they couldn’t provide basic items like cheese. Furthermore, the manager had a noticeably poor attitude, which negatively impacted how she treated her staff. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
There was a lovely 80-year-old lady at the front counter handling orders and drinks by herself. In the prep area behind the counter, it seemed like there were many workers, yet numerous customers were still waiting for their orders. The restaurant appeared clean, but the service times were definitely an issue. I would recommend ordering ahead through the app and scheduling a pickup time that is 15 to 20 minutes earlier than needed due to the service delays.
Amazing Fresh Sandwiches! I've sampled several varieties, including the French dip, steak, and turkey, and each one was delectable. The broccoli cheddar soup is some of the best I've ever had. Plus, the salads are quite generous in size, making them ideal for sharing or saving for lunch the next day. This restaurant far surpasses Panera Bread. The staff is both efficient and friendly. My chopped salad was outstanding! Everyone enjoyed their meals. Unfortunately, they didn't offer coffee, which I drink multiple times a day. I would have opted for Diet Pepsi, but they only serve Coke products, which was a bit of a letdown. Aside from that, the service was excellent—everyone was friendly and prompt. Overall, it's a nice deli!
Wilmington's is a cozy and truly charming deli nestled in the warm and welcoming town of Mokena, IL. As soon as I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly sliced meats. Unlike many delis, the ham here is exceptional. The tea is absolutely fantastic. I will definitely be back!

The food is outstanding! The customer service is decent. My only issue is that they wouldn’t let me have the outer leaves and the core of the lettuce.
