We found a great spot to dine! We visited in the late afternoon. I ordered the Club sandwich with a side of mac and cheese (I know it’s a bit indulgent, but I had to try it), while my husband went for the Reuben with chips. We both added a pickle spear to our meals and got drinks as well. My sandwich was quite tasty; I appreciated the honey mustard instead of mayo. However, I felt it could have included a bit more meat for the price, which is reasonable these days. I could only finish half and took the rest home. Our total came to $25.64. The mac and cheese was decent, but nothing exceptional. On the bright side, the pickles were absolutely delicious! My husband enjoyed his Reuben and chips...
I’m not from this area and was on the lookout for a nice dinner option that wasn’t fast food when I discovered McAlister's Deli, and I couldn’t be happier about it! I ordered the chipotle chicken bacon spud, cheddar broccoli soup, and an iced tea, and everything was absolutely delicious. I only wish I could stay longer to try more items from their menu. If I ever find myself back in this area, I will definitely be dining here again. I thought the prices were reasonable, but once I received my food, I realized I might have underpaid. The servers were friendly, and the food came out quickly.
As a Nashville native, I had never tried McAlister's Deli until recently. In the past eight days, I've visited twice and sampled two of their sandwiches: the Roast Beef and Cheddar, and the Grilled Chicken with Peach Chipotle Spread. Both were fantastic! I might even go back for lunch today!
