Upon arrival we were greeted by multiple employees and immediately felt at home. Inside, the restaurant was decorated from floor to ceiling while maintaining an old fashioned pub feel. Intricate wood carvings lined each of the booths ahead of us which had DOORS ON THEM! What an interesting design. We opted to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. Despite only 1 outdoor table becoming newly available the staff jumped on preparing it for us. The bartender was exceptional, and the food was delicious. One of the highlights was definitely Jill, the head chef, who communicated with us throughout the planning. She was warm, straightforward, and incredibly honest from the start. I would ask her for food recommendations based on our guest count, and she would kindly let me know if I had over-ordered or suggest that a particular item, like the sconuts, would be a big hit—assuring we had plenty of them on hand. The best Irish pub in the Lehigh Valley. Great food, spirits, and atmosphere. Friendly staff and hard working chef make every meal an experience. The store offers a lot of great products from Ireland and the UK. The pub hosts a Robbie Burns dinner, monthly cooking classes, Whiskey Wednesdays, and other great special events throughout the year. Traditional Irish favorites like Bangers Mash, Cottage Pie, boxty, and more are prepared with a modern twist. Lots of great beer, cocktails, and of course whiskeys. One visit and it will become a new favorite.
I am not one to complain about food when I'm the one that made the mistake. Staff was attentive and knew something was up so they came and asked. I blamed no one but myself. They didn't care the fault???? instead offered to help make adjustments so I was happy. I went here two days in a row and the same waitress helped my table both times. The atmosphere was wonderful. I ordered the grilled chicken breasts with mashed potatoes and green beans, along with a Harp beer. The generous portion of green beans was cooked perfectly, and the mashed potatoes were delicious. The chicken was topped with a fantastic Jamison BBQ sauce and was cooked just right. The service was excellent as well. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely be back.
The atmosphere is delightful, the staff is excellent, and the food is exceptional! There’s a good variety on the menu, and the portion sizes are generous. It’s a good idea to call ahead, as they tend to be quite busy. Although it’s not a large space, they do offer outdoor seating as well.
Very nice atmosphere with live musicians most weekends. Love the fish and chips. Wait staff are always friendly and service is prompt even when crowded. Aimee our waitress was great! We got one of the snug enclosed booths today, it was nice. 2022: Still consistently good food and service.
I always have a great time here. There aren't many places where I can find Smithwick's on draft. The Bison burger was fantastic, and I definitely recommend trying the Wild Scottish Scotch Egg as an appetizer. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
