Even though there were tons of open tables, the service was not great. Our waiter dropped off our drinks and the grilled oysters appetizer, and then didn’t come back to the table to get our dinner order for over 20 minutes. My husband got what was supposed to be sablefish, and even though he is never picky, the fish was so rubbery and smelled and tasted so fishy, he couldn’t eat it. The waiter checked back 25 minutes after we got our food, and took it back to the kitchen, and came back out and said it was sea bass. (It was not sea bass. The best thing about M&S is that they are consistently good across all locations that I have visited. When traveling, you don't always want the spendiness of Capital Grille but you also want better food than Maggiano's, this experience fits as a nice option somewhere in between. So when I moved to SW Minneapolis, it was nice to find this location. I would go a lot more but parking is terrible there. That is my only complaint.
Half my group had amazing food (tuna! , the other half said their salmon was a little fishy. M&S is currently remodeling and the seating is being updated, we asked to be moved to a better spot, but still had a direct view into the kitchen. Great service though and a nicely varied menu with options for kids.
The food is absolutely amazing! The service was a bit slow, but I would definitely return or order takeout. Plus, they treated us to some desserts, so I have no complaints at all. They also communicated any issues effectively. I give it 5 stars!

Casey our waitress was the best. Salmon and lobster bisque potatoes were excellent. Twin lobster tails were small and not very special. I should have gone for the 8 ouncer.
The service and food were both excellent. We were grateful for the staff's accommodating nature with regards to the wheelchair.
The food was too salty! This restaurant is usually our go-to for dinner, but we were disappointed this time.
