We are extremely loyal to this family-run restaurant that is known for its excellent cooking, cleanliness, and diverse menu. The service is friendly and prompt, making for a welcoming atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I highly recommend trying their famous SPAM FRITTERS, which my friend loved so much they are now a fan of the HALLOUMI FRIES. These battered cheese fries from Cyprus are absolutely delicious and a must-try. They even offer fish for your cat, showing thoughtfulness. There is a small car park next to the restaurant, just look for the big wooden gate opposite the Esso garage. Thank you, see you soon.
Support this wonderful family run establishment . They have managed to stay open during this terrible pandemic . We were cautious to visit but quickly saw their adherences to all hygiene practices . The very high standards taste and freshness of their products is second to none meaning we shall remain loyal to them . Usual menu on offer but one rare exception , delicious ,succulent ,thick , SPAM FRITTERS !!!! . Outstanding . Along with their expertly cooked golden chips it would take some beating in any contest . Thank you for your service . Feeling really hungry now i "m off to the best chippy by far .
Whenever we are staying with our family in Kent, we always have fish and chip suppers from McCoy’s Fish Bar. We usually ring to order the food beforehand and then collect it about half an hour later, all freshly cooked and piping hot. They don’t only do fish: cod, haddock, plaice, rock, cod bites and fishcakes, but they also do burgers, chicken, meat pies (minced beef, chicken and mushroom and steak kidney), sausages and saveloys. I can recommend McCoy’s Fish Bar. We will definitely be going back the next time we are staying with our family in Kent.
We had another lovely takeaway from McCoy’s Fish Bar in Frindsbury while staying with our family in Kent. We rang to order our fish and chips and went to collect it forty-five minutes later. As usual, the food was piping hot and tasty and my husband had a huge wing of skate which he thoroughly enjoyed. I went into the restaurant just to buy some chips. I paid with a ten pound note, and the cashier cheekily gave me back a pound less. She had the audacity to look me in the eyes while doing so. I will be reporting this woman to the manager and confronting her about this behavior. I advise anyone who visits to always double check their change.
I visited today hoping for a nice quick meal with my family and ended up recieving a kid's meal with hair in the nuggets and chips and they put a drink in the greasy chips which made the drink wet and warm. I was surprised that none of the staff wore hair nets and I do not expect to go there again.
During our stay with family in Kent, we enjoyed another delicious fish and chips meal from McCoys. We always anticipate this treat and have never been disappointed. If you're looking for freshly cooked fish, this is the place to visit. We will definitely be returning soon!

Requested and paid for large cod and chips , received a small cod that they tried to make up for by giving me a mountain of chips , half of which I threw away , far too many .Never mind they have lost a good customer who will now go elsewhere.
