This McDonald's has been a go to spot on more than one occasion for us. It is in a great location near campus/ dorms for when we visit our daughter. And sometimes you just need a quick meal. The staff here is super friendly and many speak Spanish, a big plus! Over all this is a great option if you need McDonald's on Campus. The only thing I would improve is there seems to be loneliness to the place. Which is weird because they have a parking lot. So, you would think more people would dine in. However, I would alleviate this weird ambience by playing upbeat music in the back ground. That would have gotten a fifth star rating out of me! haha But as is, a good choice!
I ordered on the mobile app and I ordered food with 3 ranch. To be clear I’ve worked in a McDonald’s for the past 5 years. When I tell you I’ve never charged someone for sauce they ordered, I never did. I watched the man who clearly was a crew trainer glare at me and put one ranch in the bag. I asked if I could have two more. When I did that not only was I yelled at but so was the poor kid working the window. So I payed $0.50 for the sauces and got outta there. The disrespect that I keep getting at this store is uncalled for. At my McDonald’s you don’t get to treat people like that. I’m extremely disappointed in how this McDonald’s treats there costumers.
We waited in line for 35 minutes just to have them give our order to the car in front of us. Then we were told to go park in a spot that was already full. Parked next to it and then waited another 35 minutes just for them to never come out and give us the order. When we went in to go try and resolve the issue we could barely get the attention of anyone. Then when we tried to explain she was very rude and just said “no” and walked away. Absolutely trash mc Donald’s location.
I order at the McDonald’s located on Regent St, in Madison Wi. The location is very busy, yet, when you do curbside pickup you wait 30+ minutes for 1-3 items. Don’t recommend curbside if you are in a rush. As it stated it should take 5 minutes for food to come out. I have waited the longest 45 minutes for a single drink. When not busy it still takes 10-15 minutes to get my order. A quick in and out isn’t possible at this location.

I have visited this McDonald's multiple times and often utilize the mobile app for pickup at the drive-thru. It's a bit odd that despite ordering correctly, there is consistently something missing from the order or they are out of certain items when we reach the window. This is not a common issue I have experienced at other McDonald's locations.
McDonald 's is going downhill. They either need to improve their food quality or give up. Also, they are trying to switch to contactless payments . Meaning that you use a machine or an app to place your order. This is resulting in VERY long lines, complex ordering systems, and worse of all is causing people to lose their jobs.
Between the students, UW Faculty and Staff, and State Employees, this is probably one of the busiest McDonald 's in Madison. However, they handle it well. Food is good, service is fast, and the Badgers paraphernalia on the walls give it that College Town atmosphere.
Look, Its a McDonalds what can you expect? The food is food, all I have to say is god bless the people who work there. I cannot imagine working there at 3am on a Saturday dealing with hoards of drunk college kids. You're some legends for real.

Tavares was excellent!!!! How they made a well done quarter pounder, 2 apple pies and delicious food under 3 minutes is beyond imagination. I will be driving that extra mile every time I want McDonald's. Bet!
Great location. This McDonald's is one of the few where you don't have to worry about the limited late night menu.
