We went to the McDonald's in Coldbrook the other day and the young girl at the counter was sweet and pleasant. However the service was very slow, although not her fault. There seemed to be multiple people working , including a manager who was worried about filling coffee thermos' while the lobby quickly filled leaving the young girl at the counter to fend for herself. Although the service was slow and we could see that our very simple order was ready for some time before receiving, it was most disappointing as we could see all of the workers working around her not helpful at all. Not to mention the terribly placed sleeves of cups and Lids piled on the counter for all to see and for her to ha...
Went through the Drive Thru for fries and ended up being greeted by a young lady wearing a big bandaid on her bottom lip. I suspect it was to cover up her piercing, but it kept falling off and she had to put it back on. C'mon it's 2013 ... if they have a piercing so be it... but don't make me have to witness the person handling my food fumbling with a darn bandaid as I awaiting to eat ! Ewww! Fries went to the local sea gulls.
I really enjoy McCafe. They're located in the same parking lot as a popular national coffee chain, Tim's. However, it seems that only a select few people recognize how much superior McCafe is. This keeps the lines at the double drive-thru short and efficient. Additionally, they offer tasty food and provide fast service.
Their weekday breakfast team is excellent, but I wouldn't recommend going too early! The late shift staff really don't seem to prioritize accuracy in the last 20 minutes before closing time.
