We used the touch screens, and chose Service en salle in the mistaken belief that this would result in quick service. We ordered at 20:09 on 6th August (confirmed by receipt), and waited and waited while other customers, non British, were served before us. Our requests...to the Manager were met with a Gallic shrug of the shoulders and a pretence that he had no English unbelievable as this restaurant is almost adjacent Portsmouth Ferry terminal for the UK, and would be visited by many British customers. Order finally arrived, after many fruitless attempts for assistance from other staff, at 20:39 (again, confirmed by receipt). Order was wrong when it arrived, but by then we were so exasperate...
Arrived early off the night ferry from Portsmouth and was disappointed to find that the restaurant did not open until 08.30. The Carrefour hypermarket next door was even worse, not opening until 08.45. A lot of waiting around resulted until I could get breakfast and...do some necessary shopping for a self catering holiday home. That said the McDonalds was Ok and the touch screens mentioned in previous reviews are now operated by staff who were helpful and spoke English. The Hypermarket is fine though the other Carrefour Hypermarket to the south of Caen at Mondeville is even better.
Honteux !Les restaurant est très très sale !A n'en pas douter, il y a eu du monde en ce dimanche midi ensoleillé. Mais, rien n'a été nettoyé depuis le coup de feu !Les tables sont quasi toutes sales, l'état du sol est déplorable : frites partout, morceaux de burgers, emballages vides, sauces...Certaines tables n'ont pas été desservies et restent en l'état !Je ne suis pas habitué à voir un restaurant Mc Donald's dans un état si déplorable !Je ne recommande pas !!!!
A 15h , 25 mn d'attente pour nous servir 3 glaces , en plus il manquait les cafés , après réclamation la caissière me dit c'est de la faute de mon collègue !!!!! Ni bonjour ni au revoir , regard très froid . Je repars donc avec mes deux cafés froids car ils étaient restés sur la machine à café, et pour couronner ce service amateur elle ne m'a même pas donné de sucre . Tables en terrasse pas très propres QUALITÉ DE SERVICE NUL .

Well I know food taste different than home but... So touch screen to order your meal that helps as my French is rubbish and yes that's my fault. But it all tasted different the meat in double cheeseburger didn't taste right plus €6 yep that's...right but I do think it's the correct catchment area for us stoopid Brits they also had different things that you can try.
Après avoir parcouru les plages du débarquement sur 2 jours, nous prenons la route pour Villers sur Mer ; alors petite halte pour diner. Commande sans erreur et les menus très chauds. Accueil agréable et service correct. Il y a des documentations à notre service pour parfaire nos visites. Il y a également une vitrine qui retrace un peu juin 1944
it is a mcdonalds finally, restaurant is clean and service was really prompt. I don't speak French ao used the touch screens to order my food and it was easy. Not as close to the ferry terminal as it was thought to be about 20...min to foot. what is good if they are happy to wait for illegal to get a lift in Britain.
Nous avons pris des commandes à emporter aux bornes et nous avons attendue 30 minutes, à la remise de la commande on insiste sur le "bonjour et le bonne journée " aucun geste commercial !Lamentable et la politesse et à revoir ! Gestion du personnel à revoir franchement

De passage à Ouistréham, petite halte au macdo. Un macdo propre. Le personnel souriant. Commandes aux bornes et service à table. Petit moment sympa.
Une fois de plus froid... manque le Burger dans le happy meal....frite au goût de carton.... je suis vraiment déçue à chaque fois
