Today, my elderly mother was verbally abused at the drive-thru! She was insulted and called rude, even though she was simply trying to correct an order mistake. She didn't want to risk speaking to the manager with a car full of unwanted food. She came home upset, ruining what had been a nice day. This location is in a popular tourist area and has had similar issues before. McDonald's needs to ensure their employees are well-trained and represent Australians better. What a shame, I used to come here only 12 months ago and it was a top shelf outlet but now... Broken doors, cracked and dirty display glass at coffee bar and the toilet made me leave cause it was toxic and they got the...order so wrong! Needs an upgrade FAST, mind you the young staff are doing the best they can and the young female manager was attentive , they just need training and a good sweep up.
I recently tried to use the McDonald's app to purchase two cheeseburger meals for $6 each to go. I showed the cashier the offer on the app, but she informed me that it was no longer available, even though it had two days left. I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant thanks to the exceptional service provided by a young girl named Siena. She was cheerful, attentive, and made sure my order was correct before handing it over with a smile. She even asked if I needed more sauce or napkins to ensure everything was perfect. I was extremely pleased with my visit.

My kids went mad in the playground, they wouldn't come down when it was time to go. Probably one of the best places to take your kids in the Gold Coast without blowing the budget.
