I've been here a few times with my grandparents. We usually stop at this location en route to medical appointments (it's practically right across the street from the facility). Given that we typically stop by during the lunch hour it is often very busy; however, the staff are very friendly and efficient -- something of key importance during the lunch time rush! Patrons, as well, are noteworthy: many have chosen to vacate their seats (this particular McDonalds is very small), allowing my grandparents to sit and enjoy their lunches. The food here is amazing however the Broadway location is not equipped for large parties. We had 9 people and was told we would be able to sit together but on separate tables. Unfortunately the tables were really far apart and those on the ends of the table could not talk to each other until after dinner. Aside from that, our dinner itself was good. I ordered the cheese Katsu with a side of curry to share with my husband. Miso soup and salad is refillable and we ordered it twice. Add the curry, you won't regret it :
I’ve gone to Saku quite a few times now, and it’s always in the back of my mind when thinking of where to eat. It’s SO delicious and never disappoints. I have tried most of their dishes (all fantastic) and I love the chicken curry katsu most. The unlimited sides are such a bonus and it all tastes lovely. The quality of the food is consistently wonderful. The price is right for what you get, and you will definitely leave satisfied. Would definitely recommend if you need a katsu fix!!

Overall, this McDonald's location in Vancouver is busy for good reason - it offers convenient and fast service in a prime location.
One might assume that all chain restaurants have a uniform taste, but SAKU proves otherwise. The main branch located in Downtown surpasses this one in terms of quality. It's unfortunate that for the same price and food selection, I would suggest going directly to the downtown location to dine (which is not even far from the original branch).
This branch of McDonalds is more of an Express facility because of it's small footprint and minimum seating in the lobby. On the upside it is only hop, skip and a jump from the Canada Line at the SE corner of Broadway and Cambie Street.

I wish there were more seats available at this small McDonald's located near the Canada Line. Despite its size, I enjoy coming here because of its convenient location.
I made it a priority to visit a McDonald's while in Canada and was finally able to make it before heading to the airport.
