Visited the Catterick store for a late lunch today and found customer service was on point. The staff seemed friendly and approachable. So, what was wrong? The self service machine quickly spat its dummy out and would not give a receipt. Upon notifying the floor staff, they quickly came over, sorted it out and took it in good humour. Then I had a great dinner, less the first bite of my Big Tasty, which was cold. I took this back to the counter and quick as a flash, the apologetic duty manager; Kieran spirited it away, sorted out a fresh one and added some unexpected, but complimentary fries. Couldn't post on here when I originally wanted to. I came in Feb for lunch thinking it will be a lot better than it used to be before the refurb. How wrong was I, queued for ages for my food. Staff not a care in the world, the staff speak to you and look at you like something they just stepped in. Cattterick mcdonalds used to be awesome, these days even though the restaurant has been updated, it continues to be plagued by the same problems, that stem from the incompetent staff that still work there. Sort it out please and get staff in that actually want to work, or a hell of a lot of your customers will be heading to the new burger King that opens when the new shopping centre opens at scotch...
On January 4th, I visited a restaurant with my daughter on our way to Richmond Theatre. We both ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger and Fries. The Fries were decent, but the Burger was only slightly warm, which was very disappointing. We didn't have time to complain as we were running late. I definitely won't be returning to this restaurant. My daughter mentioned she had read many bad reviews, but we were hoping for a good meal. It wasn't even busy, as some staff were just standing around talking. I am now hesitant to visit any other McDonald's locations.
Ordered a chicken legend with cool Mayo and a strawberry milkshake. Got home found I’d been given water instead of shake. The chicken, apart from the fact that there wasn’t any Mayo on it at all….tasted medicinal,….like cleaning products. Had to Chuck it as it left a bad taste in my mouth. That’s the last time I go to McDonald’s! What they advertise and what you get are two different things altogether! Yuk!

Ordered at the entrance to drive through and was served very quickly, very impressed but that’s where it ends!!!!!! The chicken was hard on both orders of Sweet chilli and BBQ chicken wrap. Both my wife and daughter said it was the worst they have ever had. I have a feeling although you need to get people through the drive through, it was made a long time before I ordered it. Not a pleasant experience.
This is the worst food I have ever got.. Would not give it to my dog . Order number 10 on Friday 18.30. Cold food just chicken strip in wrap thats it .. and as for the burgers disgusting..chips just out of freezer not cooked Beware do not go near it . Manager needs sacking how they can sell food like that .. Never be back .. Pay peanuts get monkeys
I ordered this meal from Uber and was very disappointed. The spicy chicken meal and 2 apple pies arrived extremely cold. The burger was rubbery and inedible. The chicken and fries were both at a temperature of 35 degrees. The apple pies were just under 35 degrees as well. To make matters worse, I also found some blue plastic in the burger.
The food was below average, with mostly cold and unsalted chips. Despite not being busy, we had to wait a while for our food. We were disappointed with the overall experience and had already left, so we did not go back for an exchange.

It’s constantly on and off with these guys. Sometimes the food is nice sometimes it’s inedible. Wouldn’t,recommend this specific location at all.
