Waited in the drive through queue for over mins, then was met at the window by a very rude and irritable manageress called Kiely! Why they remained open with only staff is beyond me, though ultimately it is the customers who suffered. We...were left gobsmacked at how downright nasty Kiely spoke to us and the food order was wrong upon collection. Restaurant was closed to customers walking in and we also got stuck in a min queue to get out, so we were most definitely not waiting around to complain! Sort your manageress out McDonalds as this had to be the worst visit to the worst McDonald’s ever!
Our youngest spilled her fries and was beside herself. Not only did Paul (customer care) immediately identify the issue without being told, he brought straight over some more fries before he’d even swept up her mistake (though this followed immediately). He could see she was...somewhat tearful, so he quickly knocked up an origami unicorn. Spent a good while with some enthusiastic young boys, too, showing them the niceties of asteroids. A perfect example of why McDonalds is the best for family experience. Dab on the haters.
We just drove with my son to get a ‘treat’, upon arriving at on a Saturday night we were told they were closed, when we asked as to why you were closed to female server acted very rude and irrational saying ‘it’s...none of your business’ and even shouted after us as we drive away saying’ leave McDonald’s staff alone’. I think you may have a loose cannon working for you. Certainly NOT the kind of behaviour my old should be witnessing at a place like McDonald’s.
Quick drive through snack after night out Very disappointed, my food and coffee were Luke warm, there was no salt on my chips or provided in my bag nor was I given any napkins to top it all my latte was loaded with...syrup (caramel which made it completely undrinkable for me. Ordered on app and arrived after a hour shift to find the site closed, no information, no staff and no where else open locally to get food at nearing midnight on a weekday, highly disappointed and letdown for a site that is still listed...as open hours on the app... not sure what is going on here but for the time being it seems to no longer be in business?
Not been to McDs since Covid started and hugely disappointed. Ordered drive through meal and went for Double Cheeseburger Delux with Bacon. Found somewhere to sit and eat in peace to then find out no Bacon included. Well peeved as too much hassle to get...back there and either swap or complain.
Came in for lunch with my daughter about was kindly made aware tables were occupied and they would let me know when one was available the staff on the door (Nice chap and woman cleaned every surface constantly) was great to see...two lovely people take pride in there job....absolute class

Excellent menu and also nice to sit in or take away. Very handy for local shopping centres, and minutes off Edinburgh City bypass (come off at Straiton Junction, and head towards Loanhead)
