Claims it's 24/7 for everything including walking in for takeout orders, but actually closes and locks it's doors around 11pm unless you're one of the hoard of deliveroo riders coming in. Walked there today at 11:15pm to try and order a late night burger because I was staying in the hotel right next door and I didn't want to pay all the extra fees for deliveroo. The doors were all locked, I couldn't get in to order and the staff just stared at me with dumb expressions while I tried to get in, but then instantly unlocked it for a deliveroo driver after I stepped away. Put your actual opening times up or tell your staff to not shut down and lock up if you're supposed to be a 24/7 place. Servic...
I had to ask for sauce! For 4 burgers and 1 order of fries, they only gave me enough for 2 bites. Parking is not free at this McDonald's, but it is available if you're willing to pay for it. Three of the burgers I ordered were cold, even though I didn't ask for them to be served that way. The staff were polite as expected, but the overall management seemed lacking. This McDonald's doesn't compare to other bustling locations. However, on 1/12/2021, my burgers were fresh and hot, and they actually asked me if I wanted sauce and a cup holder. That made a big difference and I am happy to say I am changing my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars. Thank you.
It advertises as being opened but when i arrived there walking from the train station, tired from a long journey, it was closed. The staff didn’t even bother to get to us and explain why the store is closed. We waited in front of the store for at least 15 minutes but nobody opened us. Instead the manager put her head on the counter top signalling that shes tired. I understand how difficult the fast food industry is. But if you are unable to be open 24/7 please don’t advertise it. How are we supposed to plan.
I’m from the US where McDonald’s doesn’t offer any vegetarian items so was very excited to try the the McPlant here in England. Order was served fine — all orders were being taken with the self-order kiosks and the kitchen/counter was crazy busy despite it being Sunday evening. Only complaint was they were out of some condiments but the young gentleman at the counter was very helpful in grabbed me a handful when I asked.

Had to wait nearly 25 minutes for our order,I understand it was peak time but not good wheb you have a ferry to catch and just wanted to pop in. The car park is also a bit of a pain to maneuver around and you have different lanes for collect or drove through which isn't well signposted, plus we found the lines to be in the way of the cars parked up. Quite a lot of stress for a few happy meals!
Decent breakfast once I got it, had to be remade as they added cheese which wasn't requested and would've made me ill as I have an intolerance to dairy. Not really good enough and lucky I checked in store before getting on my coach to Knebworth. Person I took it back to didn't really care and tried to blame me before seeing my receipt and realising cheese was an added extra I did not add.
We recently visited a restaurant near our home where we not only purchased a variety of furniture, decorations, and other items, but also received excellent service and assistance from Nathan, the website manager. The place was clean and we had a pleasant experience overall. We definitely plan on returning in the future.
As an out of towner trying UK McDonalds, it was exactly as I expected. I do not recommend the Halloumi Fries as the regular fries are much better. Went here to grab takeaway. Ordered on app and went to collection point. The wait was quite a while considering this is a fast food joint. Standard McDonald's fare to be honest. Parking is ample and there is a drive thru also.
the personal is so friendly. I love getting my latte in the morning. they always say good morning and wish me a nice day. caffeine good customer service perfect start for the day.
