McGill's is a great place to eat, the food is of the highest quality and the service was way above average.This restaurant looks very average from the outside, but one look at the menu and then one taste of the food and you realise that this is somewhere special.They offer themed evenings, entertainment some evening but in the end it is the wonderful food that you will rememberThe carrot cake is simply out of this world!
Group of four, Service was fair2 ordered their pad thai, DON'T id you are used to good pad thai. It was more like a fettuconi dish, overpriced. Sauce did it have right flavor and should be done with rice noodles, not thick fettucini.Surprised at this restaurant, that there was not an offering of fresh bread to start meal. Appering to try to be high end, with high end prices, low ambience and so so food.
I often visit this restaurant for lunch and am always satisfied with the meals. They also offer evening meals on Fridays during the summer, which I highly recommend. The patio has live music, and if it's raining, you can dine upstairs. I recently tried the cornish hen, which was delicious and served with fresh, crisp vegetables. The homemade desserts were also excellent.
I invited a friend to this restaurant because he had never been there and as always, I really enjoyed my meal - quiche of the day and he had Eggs Benedict - special of the day. Both meals were excellent. The ambience was really good as well. Always enjoy the food at this establishment. Meals were also presented really well.
Just took the family out to McGill's. It was our second time visiting the restaurant and once again it was well worth the visit. The prices are very reasonable and the food is really good.
Great service, great ambiance and great food. Simple but all you need to know. This restaurant is easily one of the best overall dining experiences in the Annapolis Valley.
