They spoiled my Thanksgiving. First when I tried to place an order a few weeks ago for 3 individual meals for Thanksgiving they told me I could not order individual meals at the time. I called this morning at 11 after making several attempts to call and place an order they told me they were extremely busy call back at 4. At 4 I had the same problems getting through. Once again I was told to call back after 6 this time. They are extremely busy. How can I be sure I will be able to place an order then? Sounds like they have a staffing problem and did not plan ahead appropriately to handle the increased orders due to the pandemic.
I had visited a first community and eating was terrible not only the food cold, but there was literally a baptism among my feet of a previous even, I mentioned it to one of the waiters and they went with one to clean the silvrware was dirty, and I was concerned about the safety of my health by the sanitation of this facility. I wish I could not even give a start, I would never come back here again, it was disgusting and the people were all rude with long faces as they hated thier job, they need to rent a cleaning company and a new cook together with new employees!
eating is delicious, the cook never disappointed. I never had a problem with the personal, always pleasant and happy to help. I've been going there for 40 years, I'll continue with my family. I would like to thank the family mcgovern and her personal that it makes a joy to have such a pleasant family atmosphere. I highly recommend mcgovern’s family restaurant! I would give more stars if I could.
Big disappointed. The prices have sky rocketed and the portions are extremely small. Chowder was cold. Ate there and shared a plate they had the nerve to charge an extra dollar for extra plate. Seriously? The portions were so small I had ordered take out to eat when I got home only to get home to see they had forgotten my vegetables. Will not ever be going there again not even for take out.

What an incredible place to have a function at. The rooms are clean and well kept. The grounds are amazing with incredible views plus a gazebo and water fountain. The food is really good and the service staff are top notch especially Doreen and Armond. I definitely recommend this place for a wedding, baby or wedding shower, corporate event, Christmas party etc.
Always great service, no wait, great food! My family has most family events here, from weddings, to showers, to dinners. Love this place!!
We had our wedding reception there and they did an amazing job keeping in contact with us and keeping us on track.
My favorite dish here is the boneless fried chicken dinner! I consider it "comfort food".

What can I say about McGovern's? This has been a favorite of mine since I was little.
