I arrived at the restaurant after 3:00 PM and found myself to be the only customer in the building. Despite three employees noticing me and my attempts to get their attention, they continued to ignore me as they chatted amongst themselves. Frustrated, I eventually left without being served. It's a shame that I missed out on trying the food, as I had heard good things about it. Unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. They recently started offering fried okra, and the portion size is generous. I do miss the free pinto beans they used to provide, but I understand they stopped due to Covid. Now that Covid restrictions have eased, I hope they bring back the free beans as they are delicious and cost-effective. Overall, this place is fantastic - I received two large plates of food for only $32.00.
Amy helped me at the register and brought me my food. She deserves a raise! She was joyful and friendly and went above and beyond. She definitely made the experience warm and the food was good.

Colin and his staff are great people and they go out of their way to service the community. Whenever we are in Montgomery, TX we always come here. Great food and great service!
The food at this restaurant is phenomenal, especially the fried pickles which are the best I've had. The prices are really reasonable compared to other places.
This restaurant is amazing and the food was exceptional. The jalapeño sausage was delicious and a must-try, and the BBQ Sauce was the best I've ever had.
