I attended a communion party here on May 6th, and I must say that the event was lovely and the venue was fantastic. I would highly recommend this place. However, I felt the need to provide some honest feedback regarding one of the servers. I don’t remember her name, but she had black hair and appeared to be middle-aged or older. Upon our arrival, we were not attended to, and her demeanor was rather unwelcoming. I often had to seek her out, as she was chatting at the bar instead of checking on our table. Overall, it seemed like she would have preferred to be elsewhere. If it weren't for this particular server, my experience would have easily been five stars.
We visited this restaurant for Father's Day with a group of about ten family members. Unfortunately, the food was just okay, and nearly everyone received the wrong order. The service was lacking as well; I had to get up a couple of times to locate our waitress. There was a live band playing, but it was much too loud—my son even had to cover his ears. The highlight of the experience was actually leaving. This is the second consecutive time I've been disappointed with the food here. It used to be a great place, but I have no idea what has changed.
Very unhappy. Went last night if you’re not a regular plan to be basically ignored by the waitress. Had to go to the bar to get my mom another beer while waitress chatted with all the regulars. The worst part I asked for more water too bad no one noticed my empty glass the whole meal the waitress took a pitcher of water from another table that had just left a table of 6 with kids and poured me water from that table. I was shocked! To take food/drink from one table and serve it to someone else? Disgusting. I will never go back.
I was visiting a friend on Long Island who recommended this place. We stopped in and grabbed drinks at the bar. The bartender was both efficient and friendly. We didn’t stay long since we had plans later that evening, but I ordered a burger to go. It was ready quickly, and when I got back to my friend’s house, the burger was fantastic—cooked exactly how I wanted and a generous portion. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area.

The service the other day was terrible. The food was not worth the wait or money. Everything came out one at a time not all at once. When one of my members of my party asked where their food was, the waitress forgot about it. By the time their food came the rest of the table was done eating. It wasnt busy at all at this place and we were very disappointed with their food and service.
I ordered the Shepherd’s Pie and was disappointed by the portion size—it shrank from a dinner plate serving to a takeout tin, and then to an even smaller portion, all for the same price. The flavor was overwhelming, as if someone poured a can of Heinz gravy over the ground meat. It was extremely salty, so I only managed a few bites before discarding the rest.
This restaurant is fantastic! The food and atmosphere are both excellent. The karaoke, especially Singing Sal's, is the best around. The new owner, Jim, is wonderful—very nice and friendly. It's a perfect spot to relax and have fun. I've definitely found my new favorite hangout!
Great spot for a drink, delicious food, and enjoyable conversation. The bartender Kathy is fantastic. We came for Sunday karaoke and had an amazing time.

SO, SO, SO good. They are recently under new ownership and we keep coming back. My family loves McQuade's! Great service, great times all around.
Neighborhood pub with great food and super service.. You feel like a family member when you are in McQuade's!
