Got a chicken sandwich and a beef brisket. They were incredibly dry, which was really really disappointing because everyone else's reviews raved about the food. Nothing else on the menu was feasible since we don't eat pork so it seems like these were the only two options on the menu we could have and they were a bust. The service took a while but the person behind the counter was really friendly and chipper and had great energy. Love the atmosphere, as well! Quaint, intimate, and very hole-in-the-wall type of establishment. I personally would not go back because of the orders we received but perhaps the expanded menu for those without dietary preferences would be a better hit!
I m working in the area and did search for local places to eat. As you would expect in North van the majority of places are over priced. I found this little gem and stopped in for a sandwich. I got the Mexican meatloaf 12 bucks. It was hearty tasty and came on a really nice bun. It's a small little place but has a variety of sandwich's that I will definitely try. As a bonus they also have local craft beer either on a 2 rotating taps or others in cans
What a lovely bar/sandwich restaurant! There are one or two table at patio and the inside was only a counter bar. We ordered a braised brisket beef sandwich for to go and while waiting for it, we enjoyed historic pictures on the wall. Very cozy, warm and nostalgic atmosphere. Very friendly service and delicious food. I don't recommend for big group guests but for casual date, very nice place.

Friendly little sandwich shop and bar. Locals hang out and very friendly sweet owner. They are looking for a nearby location because they lost their lease. I want to come back for their sandwiches or Friday dinner.
Best sandwiches on the North Shore, plus great beer on tap in an intimate setting with fantastic people. The Mexican meatloaf sandwich is my go to order, seconded by a fully loaded breakfast bap.
Great breakfast sandwich and snack to bring to the waterfront down the street. Superrr friendly staff. Sandwiches are made to order and take about 15 min! Love this spot
