This place is incredible! I tried their most popular dish, the "Drippin’ Steak," which is a traditional cheesesteak with provolone cheese and au jus. It completely blew me away! As a Philly native, my review carries a bit more weight since I truly appreciate our cheesesteaks. I didn’t ask, but it seems like this is a family-run restaurant, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I’ll definitely be bringing my friends and family to check this place out—great food! Next time, I plan to try the "Cantonese Cheesesteak," which comes topped with two fried eggs, sesame seeds, and a few other ingredients that I can’t quite remember right now. The food was delicious! I would have given it a 5-star rating, but I ordered a cheesesteak hoagie and found the lettuce and tomato at the bottom of the sandwich, which was odd and resulted in the ingredients becoming soggy and warm (not a fan of warm iceberg lettuce). I also requested raw onions, but wasn’t aware they only serve diced onions. That should definitely be revised since it's part of the cheesesteak hoagie! Overall, I rate the food: 5, service: 5, and atmosphere: 5.
Their online system was down so we placed an order over the phone to be picked up at X time. I came in early and paid. Waited 10 minutes PAST the time I wanted to pick up the food and nothing. I had to wait another 10 minutes after to get my food only to see 3 customers order and get their food SINCE I PAID. They are very disorganized here. This was my first and definitely my last. Finally....a legit across the river cheesesteak joint! Solid. Group of five of us got food and everyone loved what they got. Most def bring yer appetite (or make use of the take home boxes) the portions are beast! Cheesteak check. Chicken cheesesteak check. Onion rings check. Double meat cheesesteak check. I'll save you some time. Come here immediately. You cannot go wrong with any of the steak sandwiches here, but the new Jersey Steak is a true masterpiece. Juicy ribeye, sauteed onions, Jersey pork roll, meatheadz sauce and Cooper sharp on a Sarcone's; just pure perfection. Add a side of crispy onion rings and a Hank's soda, and you my friend, have an absolutely delicious combo. Service: Dine in
From a native Philadelphian this place is an UPPER TIER establishment. Everything from customer service to the sweet/hot pepper bar to the EXCELLENT cheesesteak was TOP NOTCH!!!! BRAVO. I decided to take a drive from Bergen County, which took about an hour and 20 minutes, to try one of the famous cheesesteaks, and I was certainly not disappointed. It was by far the best cheesesteak I've ever had! I can't wait to go back soon because they were just that delicious. Believe the hype—don't miss out on these amazing steaks!
This was one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had! The bread was out of this world! We returned the next day, but unfortunately they had some power issues and were closed. whew! this sandwich is very filled. I ordered a regular cheese steak with whirls, cheese whis and a side of fries. that can be the lunch and dinner of someone easy after this delicious meal. beats nos and pats I am philly every day. directly at the river in jersey
