Mum and I were having a day out around Llangollen and I called in to get some food for a picnic. I think they 're mostly an eat-in restaurant but when I asked if there was anything amenable for take-away the chef said 'Pretty much anything ' so I had vegan cheesy mac and Mum had ham and cheese toasty. We hadn 't thought how we were going to eat our meals, not having any cutlery with us. However, M-Eating Place very kindly handed over two sets of their metal knives and forks as they couldn 't find any disposables. This was so kind and generous and they had no expectation of receiving them back but I am posting them back anyway. Our meals, which we at at Horseshoe Falls, was delicious and well...
We visited on a busy Saturday evening it was busy but we still had such great service from the super friendly staff, and even though we were a table of 7 our food all came out in a timely manner. The portions were very generous, and there was loads of delicious things to choose from on the menu, especially vegan options; there is a whole separate vegan menu, and a separate gluten free menu too! We loved it so much, we came back the next day for lunch. Highly recommended by everyone in our party!
Great pub with good selection of beers, great value food and very friendy, helpful staff. It was pouring with rain outside so we spent a couple of hours in this pub. The breakfast was huge and delicious, great value for money. The staff were very helpful and the service was efficient. After ventuing out in the rain for a few hours we decided to return for dinner and play a board games. Really enjoyed our day in Llangollen (despite the rain) and especially the time spent in m'Eating Point.
When I arrived at 9:15 in a Sunday morning it was already fairly busy. I was offered s choice of tables which were clean and comfortable. The waitress was friendly and polite. The coffee was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. Called in for a snack after a long tiring walk into Llangollen from our hotel. It wasn’t as I expected inside ?? Retro) but the staff were lovely the snack was very good local ham salad roll with side of crisps. It was very filling. We also had a coffee which was also very nice. I think total bill came to about £14 for everything though I didn’t pay so can’t be certain).
What a fantastic spot! We were a nightmare booking, changed the size of the table at the last minute, everyone arrived at different times and ordered at different times the staff were just phenomenal, so friendly and kind and the food was great, it was so nice we went back the following day for breakfast! Thank you so much for making our evening so great!
Breakfast and Dinner here over the space of 24 hours, the former because the latter was really good. Huge dinner portions of really good food and very friendly service. Breakfast was decent too. I loved the pork and chorizo lasagne. Quirky decor and had the kind of feel of a place you could easily turn into a local haunt.
Casual bar/ eating house. Today I had a Sunday roast and the beef was like chewing milk,absolutely delicious. My wife gad a carrot,nut roast which she described as fantastic. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great venue, wonderful staff and huge amounts of fabulous food. We had a mountain of chips that we were still eating the following day!
