Had booked a birthday bottomless almost 3 weeks ago and had specified a garden reservation. When we arrived we were informed that a big party were occupying the garden and we instead would have to stay in the main dining room. The ambience was terrible including the music and it wasn’t appropriate for a bottomless (families out for breakfast, elderly people etc). The waitress did not know we had even made a bottomless booking when she came to take our drinks orders. When we asked to move away from the very awkward and quiet corner we were sitting in we were told that all other tables were booked, not one of these parties arrived during our time of being there. Went there on the spot on a Sunday while visiting Fulham in West London. It is nice that they have walk in service so you could go spontaneously. Even though it was a Sunday afternoon, there was no cue at all and we managed to get a table at the back garden which was lovely, considering the sunny weather. The food was good, they have more of mediterranean flavours which we really liked. The staff, even though they were attentive, they could have been more pleasant a smiley. Especially the staff at the front desk once we entered they did not greet us so we were not sure if they were actually working there and if we should wait to be seated or no. We had to actually ask. First time in Megan's, i totally felt welcome from the lady manager who was in the entrance. The restaurant was pretty busy but my service was quick and amazing atmosphere. I ordered a ice caramel coffee and the manager (i didn't get her name), was genuine and told me that they delivery coffee was just 5min away and she offered me some hashbrowns until the coffee arrived and then i had my food in the meantime. I really appreciate that honesty and actually the coffee worth the 5min wait that i didn't even realized how fast was. The Eggs Benedict was great also. My sister and I visited last night after a day at a spa. We had a lovely meal and the manager was very helpful with my sister's gluten free needs. Just as we were about to leave, my sister felt unwell and passed out a couple of times. The manager was so helpful, finding her a place to lie down until she had recovered enough for us to leave. I received a hearty recommendation from a friend who couldn't stop praising this place. After some contemplation, I decided to give it a try, and I must say, it lived up to the hype. The cuisine was exquisite, the ambiance delightful, and the staff exceptionally warm and hospitable, going as far as offering a complimentary dessert. It was a flawless 10/10 experience, and I'm unquestionably planning a return visit!
Great selection of food and atmosphere. Staff were good from welcome at the door to we left. We were a large party. A big shout out to Ediz who made sure we had everything and followed up quickly. He delt with an issues in a very calm professional manner. As people who eat out often this is becoming very rare I would definitely recommend this particular restaurant to people for the service as well s the food.
Ate here prior to a midweek game. Great food and service. Would love to return but cannot support businesses that are cashless now. Shame.
