Mekong River is the place to go for super friendly and homestyle Thai cooking and service! Australian-Thai food can often be outrageously sweet and often with added msg. I've found that Mekong's home-style means that the dishes are low in sugar and msg when compared with other Thai outlets in Canberra, and is a very refreshing change from the standard Australian-Thai experience.
