I was particularly disappointed with the summer rolls. To my surprise, it came with only two rolls, which is inadequate. As someone with Thai heritage, I found this quite offensive. For those who may not know, summer rolls are a staple side dish in our culture, typically served with three or more rolls depending on the occasion, whether it's a family gathering, a restaurant, or a food stall. Not only did this restaurant serve only two rolls, but they also cut each roll into three pieces, presumably to make it look like more? In all my experiences, I have never seen summer rolls served this way, and it left me utterly confused.

I was happy to find out that Mello Dee Thai is run by the same owners as their previous spot—the only reason I didn’t visit more often before was the distance. The duck is outstanding, the roti is amazing, and the spice level truly delivers. They also offer Thai beer, which is a great addition. I’m really glad they relocated here, and enjoying the leftovers makes the experience even better. I highly recommend dining at Mello Dee Thai.

However, the restaurant owners went above and beyond by personally bringing the food to my house after they had closed, without me even asking. The food was still fresh and delicious. They were incredibly understanding and even declined to accept a tip. Their generosity truly deserves your support!

Mello Dee Thai offers truly authentic Thai cuisine. The food is delicious, the staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I had the pad Thai with spring rolls, and it was exactly what I wanted. I also tried the Thai iced tea, which paired perfectly with my meal. The restaurant is very kid-friendly, and there is ample parking available in the plaza.
After our hike at State Line Lookout, we were starving and looking for a nearby place to eat. To my surprise, Mello Dee Thai served one of the best Thai meals I’ve ever had in the tri-state area! I live in Yonkers, and I can honestly say this restaurant is definitely worth the trip.
Without a doubt, this is the best northern Thai restaurant in the area! Make sure to come with an open mind to enjoy Isan specialties such as larb, papaya salad, crying tiger, and sticky rice. You will not be disappointed! We are fortunate to have this gem so close to us.

We went tonight to try it. Great food. Very clean. Big selection of items to choose from. Very affordable. Everything was fresh and tasted great.
