Sam was hands down the best waitress—no exaggeration. Unfortunately, things haven't been the same since she left. I’d rate them 3 stars mainly because the service is consistently slow and the prices are high. The food is decent, but we’ve had some unpleasant experiences with waitresses who were quite rude. You would have thought a group of 35 of us showed up at 9:59 PM, based on their attitudes. However, the managers have always stepped in to make things right. Mellow Mushroom may not deserve a full 5 stars, but it certainly doesn't warrant just 1 star either. Got dinner here with some buddies. I got pizza, and my friends got calzones. Everyone said their food was good, and they had quite the selection of beers on tap (looked like 20ish). Service was decent, with no complaints about anything. I'm definitely looking to go back and try some of the beers when I can.
Great dinner experience for myself and our friends. The variety on the menu is mind-blowing given the unlimited number of options for pizza and other great choices. I wish they sold their merch in store although it is available online.
