I am a fan of Mellow Mushroom, but I have noticed some inconsistency with their takeout orders lately. I recently ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which I have had before, but this time the portion was smaller than usual. I had to make do with hummus from home for the extra toast. This was a bit disappointing. There was also an incident about a month ago where I ordered a thin crust pizza, but was given a regular crust pizza instead. Despite these issues, I still think their food is delicious.
The holy shiitake pizza was my personal favorite. The dough was incredibly fresh, light, and chewy, and the assortment of mushrooms on top brought a unique and mouth-watering flavor to the dish. The truffle oil added an extra layer of decadence without overpowering the mushrooms, making it a must-try for mushroom and truffle lovers. Overall, Mellow Mushrooms is a great place with amazing food, especially the pizza. I will definitely be returning soon.
Got a pizza and a large salad for three people and ended up with three slices to take home. Pizza was great and had delicious, fresh veggies on top. The crust was soft on the inside with a good crust on the outside. Any doughier and it would have been too doughy for my liking. Greek salad was good, though it doesn't come mixed, which means you have to do some work to distribute the tasty bits before it's ready to share.
Our first visit and we will definitely be back. We ordered a medium sausage and mushroom hand tossed pizza and it was delicious! Great taste and quality ingredients. Ordered the Spinach salad as a starter and it was large and loaded with apple nuts feta and dried cranberries. Service was very friendly and efficient. It was a great experience all around.
Excellent food, excellent staff, and the sauce was delicious without being spicy for me(I'm a spice wimp). Our waiter kept us advised of our wait time left regularly and checked on us frequently. They have an excellent selection for vegans as well as having quite a wide selection of drinks. Fantastic experience, highly recommend!!Food: 5/5
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant with delicious food, great drinks, and wonderful service. The fact that they also have a vegan menu is a huge bonus. Additionally, the play area for kids adds to the family-friendly atmosphere. I would without a doubt come back in the future. Overall rating for the food: 5 out of 5 stars.
There was no wait when we went at 1:00pm. Staff is so nice and helpful. The atmosphere is full of neon vibrant colors and art. Food is delicious! They have vegan and gluten free options. We got the funky chicken bbq pizza, build your own, and pretzel bites with beer cheese. So so good and cute with comfortable vibes!Food: 5/5
The pizza is tasty, and the large is HUGE! They have allergy friendly options such as a gluten free crust and dairy free cheese. It's a place where my whole family can find food that is safe.
