I can't tell them I had a chain pizza last time. sent to mellow mushroom and were really impressed! long review to follow. short retrospect: we come back. so glad we started with the elevated cobb salad. the chicken and speck were hot and tasty, but when our pizza arrived, we were almost cloged at each piece. the only part of the cobb is that it is not in a small, but this salat is a meal in itself. the merry prankster was great; the crust had the perfect crunch and crust in every bite. a delicious combination of freshly cut chicken, rugged Italian sausage, fresh and roasted paprika and the perfect amount of cheese, decorated by a herbal aioli, really made this pizza pop. on a really satisfy...
We started with the Cloud 9 wings and the Pretzel Bites w/PBR Cheese Dip. The wings were very good, garlic/pair with a touch of heat I think they said. Brezel bites are beautiful and fluffy, not too much salt, and the spicy cheese dip was a little better than the regular. We ordered a pepper and mushroom pizza, and as you can see, I wouldn't call it a cracker. It was a chewing, tasteful crust, with a lot of mozzarella. The sauce was good, and we even ordered extra to dip the crust. Definitely worth a return trip.
I am a fan of Mellow Mushroom, but I have noticed some inconsistency with their takeout orders lately. I recently ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which I have had before, but this time the portion was smaller than usual. I had to make do with hummus from home for the extra toast. This was a bit disappointing. There was also an incident about a month ago where I ordered a thin crust pizza, but was given a regular crust pizza instead. The holy shiitake pizza was my personal favorite. The dough was incredibly fresh, light, and chewy, and the assortment of mushrooms on top brought a unique and mouth-watering flavor to the dish. The truffle oil added an extra layer of decadence without overpowering the mushrooms, making it a must-try for mushroom and truffle lovers. Overall, Mellow Mushrooms is a great place with amazing food, especially the pizza. I will definitely be returning soon.
Got a pizza and a large salad for three people and ended up with three slices to take home. Pizza was great and had delicious, fresh veggies on top. The crust was soft on the inside with a good crust on the outside. Any doughier and it would have been too doughy for my liking. Greek salad was good, though it doesn't come mixed, which means you have to do some work to distribute the tasty bits before it's ready to share.
Excellent food, excellent staff, and the sauce was delicious without being spicy for me(I'm a spice wimp). Our waiter kept us advised of our wait time left regularly and checked on us frequently. They have an excellent selection for vegans as well as having quite a wide selection of drinks. Fantastic experience, highly recommend!!Food: 5/5
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant with delicious food, great drinks, and wonderful service. The fact that they also have a vegan menu is a huge bonus. when I stopped at dinner, my friend had a meatball sub that was pretty good. I had a buffalo chicken pizza that could bite a little more. also the first beer was out (can be to clean their lines or barrel was old), but bartender replaced so no complain
