This was my first vacation on my own, and a friend scheduled a reservation for me at this restaurant. Initially, I was hesitant about being alone in a crowd, but I went anyway, and I’m so glad I did. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. I even got to chat with Melanie and Sherry, the bartender, who were both lovely. I’m definitely planning to return, especially after hearing about all the exciting activities they have throughout the week, like bingo. I guess you’ll be seeing me again! Thank you for making my holiday so enjoyable—I really appreciated it!
May 2022, came here Monday night for Happy Hour Dinner and Karaoke. The service was good, and prices even better since they have daily specials. Everyday they have a special event menu. Came here with friends and we all had a great time. I Ordered the Prime Rib (Med.Rare) Special of the week with two sides that tasted pretty good with a glass of House wine. The restaurant was not packed the day we went. There is plenty of outdoor parking available, so you don't have to worry about parking. All and all, I would consider coming back here with my group of friends in the future.
Fun, music, dancing and a great time. Mel's has a variety of flavorful food choices. We like the specialty nights like Prime Rib and Karaoke. No need to be a great dancer to jump in on the fun either. Large space so we are easily distanced and the servers, who are masked, get in on the fun as well. It's a Poinciana trip you won't want to miss.
Mom turned 60. I had a picture perfect party on my head, but in NY and with a surprise party in Florida it seemed impossible. Melyn and her family made my dream party true. My son had his 8th grade Dance there and was absolutely thrilled. He had the time of his life loved the venue and said the food was fantastic. They worked well with the school to accommodate such a large amount of students and it went well.
This is a fantastic restaurant with live entertainment nearly every night, and the food is outstanding as well. The owners are actively involved, serving at the bar and tables, which helps uphold the high standards.
