After going in here today, seeing new menu items, a new layout, and people I have never seen before- I came to the conclusion they have got new owners. I believe I spoke with the new owner (he was the one taking the orders who was very nice, and pleasant. I've been going to Melt since they opened years ago, and the new owners are SO much friendlier than the people who used to own it.The food tastes slightly different, but the things that make Melt unique, like the bread and the variety of toppings still shine, making this a must-go stop for any local or visiting foodie. I personally recommend the mango/cilantro topping for any sandwich. They also added fries to the menu and they are simple but so good.The only reason it's 4 for atmosphere is because it is a very small shop, but that adds to the charm I think!
I can't even explain how I ended up here. Road trip, wrong first choice of a restaurant, but finding this place was a gift from heaven. The service was A1 and the food was amazing. I ordered the chopped sandwich and it was cooked fresh while I waited and Hand delivered to my table 10/10 and if I am in White Plains again. I will make another visit.
Words cannot do justice to what I just experienced here. Ordered a “pizza” that turned out to be the size of my fist and was sold for $15. My wife ordered a “sandwich” which basically was a cold naan with a few veggies and chicken, another $15. Unless you want subpar food at a premium price I’d advise staying far away from this place.

I think it’s new owners and holy moly the food is even better than before. The peri peri chicken over rice is the best halal food I’ve ever had. Also I get their classic on a wrap with chicken and it’s seriously the best wrap I’ve had…. And I love wraps lol
Sandwich shop that clearly embodies the unmistaken South African flavor and hospitality. Recommend the toasted steak special it was worth the drive from the city. Looking forward to trying other menu items. Highly recommend ????
First time coming to eat here and it was amazing. The owner and the cook were nice and calm. The food was good just a little more flavor on the chicken, but overall it great. I recommend it for everyone to try.
I’ve gotten burgers from here numerous times and keep coming back because they’re some of the best burgers I’ve ever hadVegetarian options: There are a lot of dishes that can be made vegetarian.
