This place is always reliable for a quick lunch, either take out or sit down. If you want a pick up order, definitely use the app so you can have it ready when you arrive. They have a shelf where they clearly write your name on a bag and just grab and go. My favorite item is the pink lady beets salad. It's a generous portion, with lots of chicken, fried cranberries, sliced green apples, red onions, pink lady beets and honey roasted almonds. Also a nice scoop of goat cheese on top, and a side of citrus vinaigrette dressing. Every time I'm tempted to get something else, I find myself getting this salad because it's so darn good. I had planned to go somewhere else, but after taking a quick peek inside this restaurant and feeling the lively and happy atmosphere, I decided to dine here. I ordered the vegan banh mi 1/2 combo with curried couscous. I first tried Mendocino Farms' couscous at a potluck a few months ago and knew I wanted to try more of their food. This was actually my first time trying a banh mi and I, being a vegetarian for a long time, really enjoyed it. It was their recommended dish and I appreciated the flavorful, real food they served. I savored every bite and didn't feel overly full or in a food coma afterwards when I returned to work. I will definitely be coming back again.
Stopped in for some take-out. Got a half club sandwich with a side of kale-apple salad. Perfect size for lunch. Sandwich was freshly made and super tasty. Salad was awesome...fresh, light and delicious. Staff were friendly and my order came out quickly. Will definitely come back and try some of their other sandwiches and sides. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating if you want to eat there and work or meet colleagues or friends.
I always order from this location due to my work. The staff at 444 S. Flower is amazing. They take the time to get to know you and what your favorites are. They know customer service at this location. Of course, if you know Mendocino Farms, you know their sandwiches are always excellent. The 444 S. Flower location is no exception. You can't go wrong with MF salad bowls! I love the variety of flavors included in their salads, from taco bowls to Thai salad bowls to beet salads. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations for those unsure of what to order. Be sure to try their Rose or Turmeric lemonade - the Rose is light and refreshing, while the Turmeric has a nice subtle flavor.
This restaurant is perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Even though I am a vegan and my husband and son are not, we all love the food here. The sandwiches are amazing, especially the vegan bahn mi TLT (tempeh bacon, lettuce, tomato) - I still can't stop thinking about it! It's a shame they don't have a location in Long Beach, as I wish I could visit more often.
I love a good sandwich and Mendocino Farms knows how to make one! Both, the falafel wrap and Banh Mi are delicious sandwiches and filling. I miss their hippy bbq blt though- that was their best sandwich in my opinion. Their salads are also pretty yummy.

I have tried Mendocino a few times at catered events. Overall, it has been just okay, but their curry couscous is amazing! I could easily eat an entire bowl of it.
