Atmosphere: A little whole-in-the-wall pizza shop with a giant pizza oven. They were able to give us an inside table on a super hot day. I think that they have 5-6 tables inside and about 8 outside, so call ahead if sitting inside is a high priority for you. Because it was so small, it was a little loud, but I was able to talk to my family comfortably. Food: I’ve never been to Italy, but my partner who has, said it was on point. The food came out super fast, and it was delish. My family got a few pizzas, and everyone enjoyed theirs. A great casual Neapolitan pizza spot. Would highly recommend for a fun casual night with friends or family. The pizzas we had were both super delicious. We had the Diavola (not too spicy) and the Di Ettore (I believe). We also shared the Prosciutto E Bufala, which was wonderful. The wine selection is limited and the wine glasses are pretty simple. Wouldn’t say the ambience is incredible, but totally fun for a casual night. The service was fine. Lots of people picking up for takeout.
Discovered Menomale several years ago and it has consistently been my family’s favorite pizza in the DC area. I took a friend from abroad there yesterday and he raved about it as well. The inside of the Brookland location is fairly small, but the enclosed patio area in the front provides more space. Outstanding food and service!
Love Menomale. Seriously good Neopolitan-style pizza. Love the diverse offerings, my personal favorite is the Salsiccia. Note that depending on your appetite, one pizza per adult is probably advised. Highly recommend Menomale. It is my go to spot for pizza in Brookland! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Salad was not good at all not enough dressing to much leaf not enough of ingredients. Calzone was to dry not enough sauce also was over cooked on the outside. Don’t bother with this place too much in price for quality.
Good pizza, very Napolitano style. Limited table inside, small spaces. The server was super friendly but I found the service a little slow, and it was not full.
Best Neapolitan pizza in DC. Everything we had was top notch, especially the calzone verde. Staff took great care of us.

The dough/crust was unbelievable. Definitely one of the best in town up there with Il Canale (for DC).
