My husband and I thought that this restaurant looked nice with the setting on Torecilla Beach, so we decided to have lunch there. My husband ordered grilled octopus and I ordered a house salad. Both were inedible. The squid was rock hard, difficult to cut into pieces as it was so hard and was so chewy that he had to spit it out. My salad was really boring with a bit of iceberg lettuce, a few slices of avocado and some cheap horrible looking g slices of smoked salmon...also inedible. When we complained, the waiter told us that it was normal for the squid to be hard and just laughed. We have eaten squid many times before and it is never this hard, firm yes, but not hard and chewy like a piece...
Initially we were delighted to find this great restaurant right next door to the Hotel. During our week, we visited three times. The food is very good. We had a brilliant first two experiences, fast and polite service. However the third occasion (on a very windy day), well what a difference, took forever to get the attention of the staff to be served. Food came and was usual great standard. Had a little discussion on drinks order being overlooked. Wine that I ordered finally arrived and within a minute due to the strong wind was sucked off the table and glass smashed on the floor. The food was excellent and much more than we expected. View also was nice with a cool ocean breeze coming in on a hot August late afternoon. We ordered way more food than we needed because the menu didn't specify that a dish was served with some stewed veggies and some form of potato. We order the shrimp platter and the sol platter. We also ordered patatas brava and a mixed salad. All the food was delicious. Went today 27th May 22, looked lovely as we staying next door in the round hotel…. Just a complete stitch up!!! I never put a bad complaint rarely on trip advisor but this place doesn’t deserve a one star! Food average… asked if we wanted bread that was 1 euro for a roll plus 1 euro for butter! Wanted to know price of sangria didn’t know… waiters are obnoxious and rude. Honestly worst place we have ever been!

Snack bar.. I think not. It is so much more. Fantastic food. The meat from the grill is so succulent with the perfect combo of sides. Popped in while passing one day and we were back for those ribs again two days later. Lovely staff. Especially Miquel Angel. A wonderful laid back atmosphere with fantastic food.
Tried to get in contact for a few weeks via all the ways they list they can be contacted phone, email, WhatsApp and Facebook messenger but were ignored every which way, even after fb whatsapp messages were marked seen, hopefully their food is better than their customer service but we will never know.
We returned to Nerja and decided to give this seafood restaurant another try. I am pleased to say that after a slight blip last time, this place really has got it right. Different and more staff. Service was very good and the food is top stuff, we visited every day.
We did not realise tge house salad was so massive and ordered one each! The waiter was “are you sure?” Seriously order in drubs and drabs as you may find portions are fantastic!!! Tasty Recommend

Beautiful setting. Great service. Large menu, we have tried lots of different dishes. All excellent quality and value for money. Service is perfect. Definitely worth a visit.
