Merrimack Valley Golf Club

Had my first experience at Sandtrap the other night! I 'm part of a Facebook group called Merrimack Valley Eats and went there to post for some suggestions for a good Tuesday trivia night in the area the suggestions were overwhelmingly leaning towards Merrimack Valley Golf Club! The trivia host himself, Mike, was one of the people to suggest we go there. Once we got there, I was able to identify Mike and said hi as he handed us our trivia papers. He was great on the mic, dry sense of humor and moved a good pace with the trivia! We ended up coming in 1st place out of 4 or 5 teams! Course has been in pretty solid condition and is great design wise. Tee time management has been pretty horrible though, they pack tee times in causing major delays in the round and bad pace of play. After my last round here waiting at each tee box for over 10 minutes at the last 6 tees I probably won't come back. So if you don't mind getting stuck behind slow play and contending for limited tee times it's a decent course.

Good was delicious. However, not too much to say about the staff. One waiter one bartender. Where did quite a while for a food, and waited almost longer for a check in a box to go. But again the food is awesome!

Went to the Sand Trap today for lunch and sat outside on the patio. Beautiful vista overlooking the golf course. I had the baked haddock. Was so fresh and delicious!

The course is beautiful and usually in great shape.
