Super disappointed. My mother ordered a themed cake for my sister 's birthday which is on Cinco De Mayo May 5th. She requested a white cake with raspberry filling and to be decorated with a sombrero with tons and tons of flowers. Merry had no problem with this request, agreed to everything my mom asked, and said they would be able to fulfill her order and even go above and beyond to add edible glitter or shimmer to the sombrero. Merry's cakes are DELICIOUS!!! Her chocolate flavors are probably my favorite-moist and rich- however everything she makes is fabulous. Merry did an incredible job with our wedding cake and groom's cake. Firstly she custom made an engine cake for my husband who is studying to be a race car machinist. This cake was awesome- she put thoughtful details into the design of the cake, and when you bit into it the flavors were amazing. A few years ago, I ordered a birthday cake, and my experience was disappointing. When I picked it up, the image I requested was missing. The staff member I encountered was very rude, informing me that the cake wasn’t finished yet. She was so unpleasant that I didn't even mention that I had specifically asked for an image of Winnie the Pooh holding a balloon, which was completely different from what I received. I’m not surprised to see so many negative reviews. If you’re in the business of making cakes for people, it’s essential to greet them warmly and treat them with respect. Happy birthday to me.

Had the luxury of tasing a few of her creations because my girlfriend has been frequently purchasing her cakes for years and I gotta tell you that I've tasted some of the cakes from some professional cake makers in nyc and I gotta tell u that she beats out a lot of her competition because of her passion and skills. She's been doing it for a long time and as long as she's making cakes I won't have anyone else make my cakes.
I attempted to pick up a cake we ordered on Monday for today, Wednesday, but when I arrived, no one answered the bell despite waiting for a while. Nobody contacted us to inform us that the hours had changed. The communication was poor, and I never received a call about the change in hours. I won't be returning here again. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
Thank you for the wonderful cake that you made for the Mink Pond 100th Anniversary. We had 120 guests and the cake was the hit of the evening. The flavors are incredible, and the staff is very easy to collaborate with. We had a graduation cake made for our daughter here, and we’re also having them make our wedding cake. We can’t wait to taste it!
