Dining here is a bit chaotic. You go to the upstairs check in, and whether or not you have reservations, you just put your name down and hope to get seated. It probably only took 10 minutes to get a table, but it wasn't without stress. We sat down in one of their many historic rooms, which was very interesting, but squished between other larger parties. The pig itself is fantastic, and delicious, though I might argue the suckling pork in Portugal was a tad better. But the chaotic environment didn't lend itself to easy eating, and we made the trek from Madrid essentially to eat at this historic restaurant. El lugar tiene mucha historia y buen ambiente. Todos fueron muy amables y acogedores. Teníamos cerdo, que estaba muy bueno, el resto, como las patatas y la ensalada, eran normales. El vino tinto seco estaba bueno. Es caro, pero la experiencia vale la pena gracias al desempeño del propietario.
Lo mejor de lo mejor. No hay palabras para describirlo. La comida buenísima y el trato por parte de los camareros,inmejorable. Resaltar sobre todo al camarero Starlyn que encantador y muy amable. No le doy más estrellas porque no hay. Si vuelvo alguna otra vez, no dudaré en volver al Cándido
An amazing place. Great food, beautiful location, a place with history. We sat by the window overlooking the aqueduct. The owner performed an interesting ceremony before cutting the pork. Definitely an experience!

Súper encantada con el servicio, comida realmente exquisita, comimos el cochinillo. Nos sorprendió muy gratamente. Tras más de 30 años sin haber vuelto a mesón Cándido.
La experiencia gastronómica es magnífica. Me encantan los interiores además del cochinillo. Y el postre de chocolate es verdaderamente muerte por chocolate .

Bad service, so so atmosphere and average food. I think the service bothered me the most. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
