We arrived in Úbeda towards the end of lunchtime, Friday. We tried a couple of places which we had researched on TA, but their kitchens were just closed. We stopped at Maño for a beer, sitting out on the plaza, to reassess our options. The waiter was very helpful. He explained that while the kitchen was closed, we could get some of the cold dishes from the menu. We went for the partridge pâté and the goats' cheese salad. the bar is in a spectacular place, with a terrace in a square, so if the day is clear, the sun makes your time here very pleasant. the food (we asked for ochios with clay, sausage, cocoa and cod) was pretty good: the sausage something liquid and loose garlic, but it is a matter of drops. I was fine; the most delicious cachopo, although I found a stick in my mouth, I warned the waiter and, without apologising, he told me it is normal, to hear them to fix the meat. that comment was very unprofessional; the ochios were spectacular; the cod did not bring it. After having tried the popular terraces of Calle Real and not feeling fully satisfied, we ended at El Maño, feeling grateful: great recommandations from the waiter, tomato was perfect, incredible anchoa, more delicious food for 2nd service, friendly professional service, surrounded by Spanish crowd ... We fully recommend !
spectacular site. the atmosphere is beautiful, with terrace in the square. We ordered several dishes and everything was very good (to highlight the cachopo and the entrecot, the attentive and fast service. good variety of beers. we will definitely come back.

Stayed in Ubeda for 4 nights at the end of August. Tried the tapas food here first morning and went there every evening after. The service was very professional and friendly, the food was delicious and fresh, and the place was clean and comfortable
