two nights here, very Spanish and little English speaking, but don't let them out. the rooms pamper newly renovated and beautiful blend of traditional with modern touches. some beautiful traditional furniture around this one. the personal is great and we have made it with limited...Spanish and their limited English. breakfast continental, but a lot of it. they have a laity, although served between 9/9.30 and 11. a beautiful village near santander. we have enjoyed our stay
we make the el camino del norte and were unfortunately sent to this restaurant. we were told our booking was for 8:30 and at the arrival in restaurant was said that it did not open until 9 o'clock. around 9:10 o'clock turned 26 adult and more. or less the same number of children under the age (adult and children sitting at different tables) and destroyed the evening for us. There are many different alternatives in escalante try all before they do on this!
They have a daily menu very good with enough options to find something you like. It includes dring and dessert for just 12€. Very good service. Plenty of locals so it might be difficult to get a table during high season just one you arrive,...but you can wait in the bar. They even adapt the dishes to allow our daughter with coeliac disease having proper food. They also warm soem gluten free bread for her. Extremely good service
Es un sitio muy recomendable, hoy hemos ido por segunda vez y de nuevo genial. El primer dia una ensalada de ventresca con pimientos rojos y arroz con almejas para compartir, hoy solomillos con queso picon que estaba muy bueno. this restaurant seems to be the busiest in escalante with a wide menu and a plentiful wine list. a preview: we had a vegetarian in our party, and the choices for him were quite slim.
very nice vegetarian rice dish and very friendly service. they were very confident that we take two glass water bottles back to our posada, as they knew the owner.
Muy sorprendido por lo encontrado en el Restaurante. Lugar acogedor, te hacen sentir muy bien. Desde el chef hasta los camareros fenomenal. La comida buenísima.

We enjoyed the meal. The wait staff spoke no English and we speak little Spanish but we managed converse and had a lovely evening.
