This is my second time at this establishment. The first time our party of four had to wait around 30 minutes in order to get a table, but this day, we were ushered right in (we arrived around 9:45 am on a Saturday). We asked to be seated in Collin's section as he was great with us the last time we were there. Collin is a great addition to your team. This was my husband's first time here. He ordered the shrimp and grits. They were able to make it without adding sausage. He said was good, not great. I ordered the #1 most ordered item on the menu which is chicken and waffles. Great little dinner with a good variety of choices that are mostly breakfast type dishes. The hollandaise sauce was light, creamy with just the right amount of lemon. Hash browns were done perfectly with a crisp, crunchy outside crust that was golden brown. Generous portions and fast service, will be coming here again.
Food was ok. The chicken tenders on the eggs benedict was over cooked and dry. The shrimp and grits were bland. We loved the cinnamon roll pancake and the spicy sauce that comes with the fried chicken and waffles complemented the dish well. The staff was very inviting and friendly.
This is a very neat little diner in Huntersville! I had the Philly cheese steak and it was quite tasty. I also had a chance to try the chicken and waffles. Waffle was fluffy and it seemed like they gave me half a chicken lol. Very delicious and my family and I will be back.
