Everyone hypes this palace up, so we had to try. We will be back, but I don't think I will order the flat iron steak again. Ordered medium and it was dead when it came out. Potatoes were extra salty; all the stuff was not needed on top of the steak. Everything else was good. Service was good. Large menu. Update: 8/21/2022 we go here a lot. My mother goes here a lot because we enjoy it and it is usually consistent. Today was a different story for some reason. Some portions were smaller than normal. Side items were forgotten. The food here is delicious, and the portions are generous. The cheesesteak egg rolls were tasty, though they would have been enhanced by a bit of horseradish sauce. Still, they were a good size for an appetizer. The Crispy Shrimp Tacos, paired with pineapple salsa, were fantastic, and the potato puffs were absolutely amazing! Our server was very helpful and guided us in making our selections. Overall, we received great service. I highly recommend Metro, and I look forward to returning.
Amazing restaurant on Upper State Rd (near Costco) in North Wales. We came here for lunch. Enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day to try their breakfast! The food is outstanding and portions are large. Everything is made to order and plated beautifully. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The Metropolitan is popular and therefore very busy. We were very happy with our meals and recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
The chicken waffle sandwich was a delightful blend of sweet and salty, with a perfect mix of crunchy and soft textures! My only suggestion would be to reduce the sweetness of the waffle just a bit. Otherwise, it was a perfect 10/10. The cappuccino was also delicious! Just a heads-up—the breakfast potatoes were quite peppery, so consider that if you're sensitive to spice. Went there with family. The service was fantastic. Very attentive. Got the chicken and waffles. Only complaint is that the waffles were a bit to sweet for my liking. The chicken was well seasoned and the sweet potato fries were great. The serving sizes on my dish and my families were perfectly filling. Overall I can't wait to try again.
We ordered the Turkey Club and were disappointed to find that it had neither mayo nor bacon. It was just lettuce, turkey, and tomato. We've always enjoyed good food from Metropolitan, but this time was different. I even called and spoke to the manager, but they didn’t offer any resolution. I won't be ordering delivery from here again.
Great place to eat! We had burgers, (although many items looked delicious ! They were the best burgers we've had in a long time...nothing special, a basic burger with fries. (I had a salad instead of the fries. So tasty, and the salad was huge!!! The service was awesome, and the food was fantastic, as always! We'll be back! Thank you!
Food extraordinarily satisfying, server good, food served very fast, environment clean and spacious, price reasonable. Very convenient reservation system, just go online and search out for this restaurant and you're in. No phone calls nor wait outside in the cold. Highly recommended and will visit more. This place is amazing, very nice atmosphere, good service and their food is delicious. The salmon was perfect and tasted great. Next time I’m trying the chicken waffle sandwich. They have a few nice beers on tap and pretty much a full bar.
