Mexican Spice is definitely one of the top spots to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. I have been coming here with my family almost every week since they opened and every visit has been fantastic. The restaurant has a charming ambiance with plenty of cute decorations, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they are constantly coming up with new menu items to try. While everything on the menu is delicious, my personal favorite is the chicken tinga quesadilla - it's perfectly filling and easy to eat. The salsas are also excellent and actually have a kick to them. My only gripe is that they are not open 24/7, because I could eat here all day, every day.
I was disappointed by the lack of options on the menu and the high prices for simple items like guacamole. The salsa offered was only hot and there were no options for pico de gallo or sour cream. I felt like I did not get my money's worth and would have preferred going to a more authentic Mexican restaurant or even a chain like Chipotle.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and felt like it was a rip off. The only positive aspect was the work ethic of the staff, but that was overshadowed by the poor quality of the food and high prices. I will not be returning.
This is a charming restaurant with lovely outdoor seating. My husband and I have tried nearly all of the tacos, and they were all outstanding, as were the sauces. The beef empanada was delicious. The food is of very high quality, super fresh, and the service is excellent and reliable. I enjoyed reading about their move to Chatham, which was pretty cool. This little place is a hidden gem that should not be missed. I would give the food a rating of 5 out of 5.
I had a wonderful dining experience at Restaurant X. I visited during lunch and the price per person was in the range of $20–30. The food was excellent, receiving a 5-star rating from me. The service was also fantastic, with attentive and friendly staff earning another 5-star rating. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, contributing to an enjoyable meal. Overall, I highly recommend Restaurant X for a delicious and satisfying dining experience.

My wife and I visited from NC and met with friends at Mexican Spice. It was an awesome experience! Geronimo served us a very tasty platter with guac and chips, tacos al pastor, quesadilla and carnitas, and a fabulous green salsa. If you happen to be in town, recommend this place. This restaurant provides extremely poor value for money. The soup was nearly $15 and tasted like it was straight from a can. The quesadilla had a cardboard-like taste. The average cost per person ranges from $30 to $50. The food quality, service, and atmosphere were all rated as a 1 out of 5. The only recommended dishes are the soups and gluten-free quesadilla.

The service is good and the presentation of the food but the taste is very bad I ordered chicken tacos and the meat was tough and in huge pieces as if they had just been thrown into the tortilla... I don't like it... I hope they improve
I highly recommend Mexican Spice. The food is delicious and the service is excellent! I get so excited when I see their food truck at local events!
