After waiting over 30 minutes for our drinks and asking the waiter twice where our drinks were they arrived the margaritas were not at all authentic apart from the glasses. You could not taste any alcohol and they were very small. We think they we from a premixed bottle.. People that arrived after us had their food and drinks already. Nobody had even taken our order for food, so after we had our drinks. We paid and left and went to a different Mexican restaurant ,Tulum where the waiters were extremely friendly and the atmosphere and the food was outstanding. We will definitely not be going back to or recommending Restaurante Mejicano again.
Fuimos mi pareja y yo a cenar un Martes noche, y la verdad que nada del otro mundo. Cierto es que hay muy buen ambiente, hablando de clientes y camareros, muy buen trato y muy atentos, pero he de destacar el servicio tan lento por parte de la cocina. Pedimos 2 tacos, de pescado y chorizo, junto a unos nachos y unas quesadillas. 1 hora y 15 minutos de reloj tardaron en servirlo. A esto, hay que destacar el precio que posee las comidas, que para mi gusto, es un poco caro para la calidad que ofrecen.
It’s been 3 years since we last visited and I think most of my comments would stay the same. It felt like we were rushed in and out in half an hour. The food is good but not at all spicy, I asked for extra jalapeños which made the meal. Empanadas were nice as were the fajitas. Service was pleasant from the waitress although the man made me feel like I was a nuisance.
El mejor mexicano que comí jamás! La comida auténtica Mexicana pero además podrás encontrar platos de la gastronomía mediterránea. El servicio impecable y además te ofrecen información sobre cualquier plato que tengas dudas con detalles. Si te gusta el picante y la buena y auténtica comida mexicana lo recomiendo al 100% Calidad/Precio: 10/10

Muy recomendable si buscas un mexicano en la zona. Gran variedad de platos, comida mexicana de verdad y muy bien elaborada. Personal muy amable y atento.
Comida mexicana de verdad. Te da igual que el servicio sea un poco lento o el ambiente un pelín ruidoso, vuelves una y otra vez por la comida.
Excelente comida auténtica mexicana. Los camareros merecen un 10. Lugar inmejorable, buen ambiente.y además...pude aparcar fácilmente.
