My experience at Mi Casa was disappointing. The tortilla chips were too hard, and the complimentary salsa tasted more like generic taco sauce. Prices were high, and the staff seemed indifferent—not rude, but not particularly welcoming either. Due to concerns about possible cross-contamination with pork and unclean shellfish, I won’t be returning. While I understand these ingredients may be important for some diets, they don’t align with my dietary beliefs or healthy lifestyle.

Currently about $20/per person until you begin ordering extra things. A single side of guacamole was $7.25, cocktail $8.50 so you can easily escalate your bill. However, service was good and food even better. We ordered combination plates and we had to take food home because the plates were so big. There’s a bar in the back with a large screen TV so there are many options for an evening out. Rated 5 Stars easily! Parking: Lots of spots except during the busier hours of dinning. Kid-friendliness: It’s a safe environment for bringing kids to.
I had the steak wet burrito my son had the chicken burrito. I know a lot of us have our own version of what good food is and this place I would not put in that category, in my opinion. Granted, it is on the border of Costa Mesa Newport Beach, so my expectations weren't that high. The food was very bland and not much flavor. The one thing that was nice were the warm chips. Our greeter was nice and was always ready with more chips and salsa. We will not be back.
I love Mexican restaurants where they serve you their home made chips and salsa. This is one of those places and in my experience usually an indicator of good food quality. While my California burrito was good I as a customer disagree with the price of the meal. I think this place is asking for a lot of money for average tasting food and smaller portion sizes. As customers it really is up to us whether the price is right.

Avoid ordering online. I canceled an order today and was informed that I needed to reach out to DoorDash for a refund. That’s understandable. However, DoorDash claims the order was completed, and I still haven’t received my refund. I'm left wondering if the restaurant even cares about this issue.
Great food, very large portions, delicious chips, martini $10… All very fair for what you get! I would highly recommend for Takeaway or delivery… But the restaurant itself felt very worn and dirty. I would not go back for the dining experience, but I would definitely go back for the food.
The food was so good that getting diarrhea later was totally worth it??. Get the enchiladas, very good. Would come again in a heartbeat ?
