I honestly believed I could handle subpar Dominican food until I discovered this place. I stumbled upon it during a break from a nearby class and thought I couldn't go wrong with Dominican cuisine. Unfortunately, I was mistaken! The establishment seemed a bit off when I walked in, but I decided to give them a chance anyway. I ordered a quarter chicken with yellow rice and went with what I typically get at Spanish restaurants. However, the chicken was dry and lacked flavor. My meal came out quickly, but I wouldn't recommend dining here.
I've been visiting this restaurant for many years, ever since I lived in Richmond Hill, where it's located. Although it can get a bit busy, the staff always takes great care of you, and the waitresses are very friendly. The owner is also very pleasant. I met a friend there today who gave me some helpful advice, and I really appreciate him for that; a good friend is hard to come by. It's a great place to catch up with friends. Tomorrow, we’ll be celebrating his birthday there, and I can't wait!
Nice cozy place to enjoy some classic Dominicans. Servers are always nice and friendly. Her roasted chicken is beautiful and juicy. The frits are crisp and tasty. You have a wide selection of drinks. The mix/pick plate is nice, but it's kind of fat. Beans and rice are well made. The bread pudding is good.

The service was great! I was pleasantly surprised to find Colombian-Ecuadorian soda on the menu, so I had to order it to go with my Tres Golpes! Overall, the food was good, but the mangu could definitely use some improvement.
I absolutely love this place! The Sancocho soup and sandwiches are fantastic. It's always a great spot in the neighborhood, and it has a wonderful aroma that fills the air.
Beef steak with white rice and beans,mufongo,and fried sweet plantains and they give a cup of pimento with peppers and onions...DELICIOUS!!
In a rush? Skip the pizza have some baked chicken and avocado salad. Great service Very Welcoming Staff and Very Affordable.
